Hi, I want to scan something to post but the scanner is connected to another computer in the house. If I scan using that, I will obviously have to delete the picture after transferring it to usb drive etc. Does anyone know if it will save like a backup copy or something somewhere I can't or won't find?

It depends on your scanner software I suppose. My scanner (which I haven't used in years) saved the pic in only one place. Of course, you must remember to permanently delete the image from your Recycle Bin as well.

I run Sleepycomics.com

Maybe the scanner software have a 'settings' or 'preferences' where you can set the destination directory of the images, so you'll know where they are.
