DC Comics announces a new digital comic series based on the Lynda Carter TV show will debut in December:

I wonder if the new comic will be based on the ABC/WW2 era of the show, or the CBS/1970's era of the show? I hope the former, the ABC era show had a much better supporting cast.

Well, the comic finally came out (on January 7th, 2015), and it's pretty good. No sleepy scenes yet, but there is plenty of quasi-1970's wackiness, like a completely random Soviet roller derby team armed with hammers and sickles.

Interior art is nice, though not quite as nice as the cover, above.

Your 99 cents gets you the equivalent of the first 15 minutes of an episode, ending on a cliffhanger with the reveal of a villain from the Wonder Woman comic books.

I was pleased with it, and plan on picking up the rest of the issues as they are published every Thursday for the next 7 weeks.
