To me, the most important thing about a KO of any type is that it be a FULL BODY DEPICTION (and it must be unobstructed) -- as I've said many times, why do comic book illustrators go to the trouble to create a beautiful, sexy superheroine, and then give us partial views in the most dramatic scenes. Unfortunately "full body" is rarely the case with head KO's (most tend to show only the upper torso, neck and head; still there are a few rare, full shots of a head KO to inspire me.)

Assuming all would be full body depictions, my favorite KO's are as follows:
1) Head KO with superheroine held tightly from behind by one villain and hit from the front by another (these are fairly rare)
2) Head KO hit from behind (stick, blackjack, gun butt - I'm not particular)
3) Power body squeeze (Rare - There is one of these with Batgirl that I like)
4) Karate chop (from behind, but from in front is good too)
5) Stomach punch (extremely rare)
6) Gas
7) Chloroform (full body shots of this are also rare) One reason why chloro is not ranked higher by me is because it usually causes most of the superheroine's face to be covered, and I always like to see the face.
8) all other types of KO's are equal at number eight.

I'd also like to add that it is especially exciting to me when a head KO is so forceful that it causes the superheroine to be lifted off the ground and into the air. There is a full body shot of Sheena KO'd this way, and it is amazing.

For me, I dont mind the chlorform idea but my fave KO would have to be a sleeping gas KO. Could be done with any item. and it doesnt matter to me if its male or female KOing.

I've been asked which issue did Sheena get a head KO from behind which was so forceful it lifted her off the ground. How great -- the picture appears on sleepycomics.com under Directory: Characters: Sheena: Head KO's. The actual comic book is Jumbo #23. I wish the shot were larger, but in the early days comic books put 6-8 frames to a single page, so this shot is smaller than I'd like.

Since this is a forum on sexy knockouts, I'd like to shift the discussion slightly to the issue of WHO, EXACTLY, DO WE LIKE TO SEE KNOCKED OUT? For me, and I realize tastes differ on this issue, I only enjoy superheroine KOs. Ordinary girls or women being KO'd, or arm carried are not very interesting to me. I have asked myself a thousand times why it makes a difference. I cannot answer my own question. Kaanga's mate, (in Jungle Comics published in the golden age by Fiction House) was Ann, and to me she was always beautiful and voluptously illustrated, and she appeared in countless scenes unconscious, out cold, carried, tied up etc. Yet it never excited me very much because she was an ordinary girl with ordinary strength. As a teenager I often traced her image on trace paper, and put a Supergirl or Wonder Woman costume on her. Then I really enjoyed the picture. Any comments??

Your comments are very interesting. I can identify with that somewhat. Back when I was in my teens (in the 1950s) it was always a big turnon to see any heroine get knocked out whether superheroine or not. Such as Noel Neill as Lois Lane in the old Superman serial, it was always a blast to see her get knocked out and she was always fully clothed. But as time has gone by I am reaching the point that you are talking about. It is still a turn on to see a pretty girl get knocked out but not as exciting as it once was because nowadays there are so many scantily clad superheroines on TV; ie. Wonder Woman, Black Scorpion. And we see so many superheroines on the internet.
