Wonder Woman falls through a trap door straight into a net. Before she can escape, a woman clamps a chloroform soaked cloth over Wonder Woman's face.

A classic scene, and Wonder Woman's first chloroforming in the comics. She would go on to be chloroformed in the 1976 TV Series.

Here we have a fantastic concept in chloroforming a superheroine. She is unwittingly caught and bound in a net, and becomes helpless to resist as the sleep hankercheif is pressed against her mouth. She feels it coming but despite her super strength, she can do nothing to prevent herself from breathing it and falling unconscious. Gotta love it!!!

One of the first heroines to be put to sleep. Imagine if they had completed more of these classic scenes in 40s and 50s.
