Spiderwoman is pitted against the Torch in this round of the contest of champions. Inexperienced, she quickly loses and falls unconscious. Her limp body falls into the arms of the Torch, who carries her to the ground.

She then wakes up in a jungle, having lost her powers. With no way to defend herself, she is quickly knocked out again, and her limp body is cradled by her subduers.
