At the Taos Harvest Festival, the supervillain team Onslaught "kidnaps" Perdita to distract the Outsiders and send them far away on a false rescue mission.

As soon as they leave, Onslaught releases knockout gas into the festival, drugging everyone, Including Wendy Jones, aka Windfall and Celia Windward, aka Jet. Onslaught's true targets were the meta-human attendees.

A long time later, when the Outsiders realize the truth, they race back to the festival and rescue the meta-humans from Onslaught before it's too late.
