In #249, Gladiator thinks that the Fantastic 4 are Skrulls and fights them. After easily defeating the Thing, Human Torch and Mr Fantastic, Sue is left by herself to fend off against his godlike strength. She traps him in an Invisible Bubble which does manage to hold him but only for so long. Gladiator punches against the shield repeatedly, the force eventually being too much for Sue as she collapses from the feedback. Her son Franklin wakes her up in #250.
