I'm a Nancy Drew fan and this so fits what would happen to her. She was/is so carelessly independent that knocking her out........? No problem.

I'm not sure who did the art on this issue, but I'm really impressed that Mary has a visible bustline. So often Fawcett depicted her with the bustline of a 9 year-old, totally flat . . . what a shame. Here she looks good, not wonderful, but good. I like the improvement, but am puzzled at the sometimes we show it and sometimes we don't attitude of the publisher. Go figure.
