I think this is a great cover scene, but I wonder if this question ever occured to any of you guys: Her mouth is not covered in this scene, so why isn't she sceaming out her famous "canary sonic boom" in order to get free? Sometimes the publishers make no sense in the scenes they create.

That question never occurred to most people probably because:

1) She didn't have her powers during those years
2) They actually read the comic

She lost her sonic cry after she was violated in the Longbow Hunters. She only got her powers back within the last 5 years or so. So during this early run of the Birds, she didn't have her powers.
