Although it would totally ruin our DID fantasies if the superheroines were treated the way street thugs normally treat their victims, I can't help but wondering why they never consider "killing" these crimefighters when they have the chance .. . . time and time again, they tie them up and hold them in captivity. I, of course, love it, but my logical self reminds me this would never happen in real life. Deep inside, I'm glad it is the way it is, of course, being the sleepy afficionado that I am.
