For several issues running she was having some sort of sickness inside her making her weak and vulnerable at times. That is why the attack in this story was so effective in ko-ing her. I particularly like it when a super heroine wakes up strapped to a table and cannot move, and must carry on a conversation with her captor. Makes them seem so vulnerable and helpless.

Oh, I remember this scene! From the early 1980s, I think. Nice KO of the sexy blonde heroine!
