Wonder Woman tries to protect Wonder Girl (Cassie) from the enemy but is hit while doing so. He then continues to pound on her until she is knocked unconscious. In the next issue there isn't really a wake up. She just gets up from the ground and fights again.

Of all the Wonder Woman illustrators, John Byrne is TOPS for giving us full body shots of the Amazing Amazon ko'd, unconscious, and carried. He fully understands what the reader is interested in. Unfortunately, he was never able to draw her face as pretty as most others could, and she is never quite as sexy looking. What a shame. Oh well, something is better than nothing.
