There has been put somekind of curse on all the amazons on Paradis Island which turns them into stone as soon as they step onto the island. Wonder Woman is in the jet flying towards it so she gets weaker. Then she faints.

I guess it has something to do with this "turning into stone" thing, but it definitely reduces my enjoyment of any KO scene when the superheroine doesn't look good,and the "grainy" texture of WW's skin makes her not look good.
