These Huntress pics are from a back-up story in one of Kazar's extra large issues from back in the 70's. I once owned this book, and have always thought this was a five star story. She's qaite sexy looking, and the fist to her jaw pic is one of the best of its kind I have ever seen -- she was clearly overpowered and outfought in hand-to-hand combat, something that is always exciting to see when a masked superheroine is involved. Great selection, Monsieur P.

Yes, I like quick and neat KO's.
Thanks for the details.

By the way, the page that comes after page 3 above has a great shot of her lying out cold on the floor. Any chance we could add that to the great scenes already shown?

I just checked GCD (Grand Comicbook Database) and was able to more closely identify the issue these great Huntress pics came from. According to GCD the book was published by Marvel in January, 1976 as a large edition (about 20% larger pages than a regular comic book) and entitled: "Marvel Super Action". The lead story was "Punisher", (who was featured on the cover), followed by the Huntress story, which was followed by a Dominic Fortune story. Ignore my previous comment that it was a back up story in a Kazar issue, I was being forgetful, something a lot of guys my age are.

Sorry guys, if I seem to be pounding this subject into the ground. I simply want Monsieur Paul to know where these great Huntress pics came from. Since I am unable to post a picture on this comment blog, I'll post a url for anyone to use who wants to see the actual cover of Marvel Super Action published by Marvel in January, 1976. You can view this pic at:

Something no one's said yet. The Huntress is the first heroine ID used by the Avenger known as Mockingbird. This was before she met and fell in love with Hawkeye
