The details on much of the early V. work were astonishing...look at her fingers and nails...and Gonzales always did her eyes, face and air well. Very few artists knew how to 'capture' a woman's form like him.

Very true gilslug, very true. Liked the stories then as well. the 70's were the best times to read V. The art was fantastic, the stories engaging, what a time to be an adolescent!.
