The k.o. is lame, but the wake-up scene is well-done, imho..besides, in scan one,Power Girl looks very, uh, healthy..

I always like the art of modern day comics but they never really show a ko as good as they did maybe 15 years ago...

Sadly, I agree, Bix...I think you can attribute this to the audience for comics generally being an older crowd than in the past..violence against women, even fantasy violence, is a lot less glamorized...
Back in the 70's and 80's, when the audience was assumed to be teenaged boys, this wasn't as big of a concern to publishers...
hmmm..this might make a good forum topic..
