The Blonde Phantom was created for Timely Magazines (precursor to Marvel) by Syd Shores with considerable input from managing publication editor and story writer, none other than the great Stan Lee. No wonder her stories are so exciting and full of DID and peril. In this single issue she is KO'd 3 times, tied up twice, lies unconscious at the feet of malevolents three times, and choked twice. Stan Lee was a masterful story teller, and Syd Shores was a wonderful pencil and ink man. Together they gave us a genuine classic. In one of the stories in this issue she battles a modern day British Red Coat wannabe who is no more than a white haired bully and thug, though she is no match for his brute strength and is taken down by him three times. This issue is one of her all time best for DID art. Enjoy.
