As I've said many times before, the perils Sheena experiences from story to story seem quite redundant . . . falling off a cliff, falling into water, fighting wild animals. There are a few original knockouts, but for the most part it is usually the same ol' same ol'. Still, she is always great to look at, and pics of her unconscious or arm carried are always stunning. In this issue she is caught in the cross-fire as some evil kidnappers seek out a lost scientist (lost for 20 years or more) for a million in ransom money. Sheena intervenes unwittingly, and in the process gets attacked by a band of gorillas spooked by gunfire. She is knocked off a cliff and falls to a ledge below where she is knocked out from the fall. Her pet chimpanzee, Chim, rubs her forehead and awakens her. She returns to the fray and defeats the baddies, jungle justice is restored. Pics below show her attacked, falling, out cold, and waking up. Not her best appearance, but not her worst either.
And the Cover scene is not bad either, showing her caught in a trap and trying to fight a large gorilla on the attack. This would have made an excellent DID scenario if it had appeared in one of the stories. Too bad it did not. Enjoy.
