With more than the usual scenes of peril, Jumbo #38 has a very simple plot line for Sheena and her beau (Bob) . . . it's all about some cannibals who want to have them over for supper . . . literally. Nothing complicated or devious . . . just some white meat for the whole tribe to enjoy for Sunday brunch. The first scenes of peril come in a direct attack on Sheena in an attempt to capture her . . . she however falls into an alligator infested river where she stands a better chance of survival, and manages to do so. Then, tracking the cannibals to their hidden encampment, Bob and Sheena discover that two other white meat "unfortunates" are already waiting to be supper. In an attempt to rescue these mishaps, Sheena is grabbed, manhandled and put on a carrying pole and she and Bob are hung up over the bar-b-que pit. Sheena's pet chimp unties Sheena and she frees her mate, then they both free the two other captives, and all flee the camp to safety. A greater number of and better scenes than usual in this exciting story. More fun for all of us!!
