Oh, I remember that rather interesting, colorful outfit depicted in the interior pages! Good KO, but I am rather glad that they eventually settled on the "tiny hot-pants" costume, which was my favorite of all Supergirl costumes! That cover, by the way, fueled many a demented fantasy in my adolescent years!

It has always been an awesome cover. Not only is she unconscious, but she looks totally and completely helpless . . . in those days that was a completely novel idea for Supergirl. Mary Marvel never ever had a similar scene. And notice the seal of the Comic Book Code on the cover . . . this was an early sign of its demise, but very early, its impact was not yet finished for sure.
