Sheena and Bob get captured , tied up and almost fed to a mound of man-eating (and,persumably, woman-eating) jungle ants....
It's interesting that the bad guys here are identified only as "Facists", rather than specificaly German or Japanese..even though the book appeared in 1943..that and the art style makes me think it was drawn/written before America's entry into WWII..

This scene had the potential to be dynamite -- 5 stars, if only the bondage pics had been done with more care, i.e., full body shots and given larger frames so the entire scene would have more impact. Still, the concept is great . . . I do love a strong heroine unconscious and lying face up over a barrel or a tree trunk. wow!!

Love those rifle butt knockouts. Gives the impression that the heroine is going to be OUT for a long while. Good pose of the unconscious Sheena lying on her back with arms above the head.
