Marvel Super Action #1

Categories Head KOOTS CarryWake Up

Bobbi Anne Morse, before she became Mockingbird, had a one-issue career as "The Huntress", here getting, ko'd, OTS-carried and roughed up, before winning a tough fight. Marvel changed her super-identity when DC threatened to sue!
A great lost classic from the fantastic "Diversions of a Groovy Kind" blog..any fan of 70's books really should give them a look.

The fist to the chin KO, the OTS carry, the full body toss . . . all make this a fantastic story. She looks great and she is in peril most of the story. Would love it if all superheroine stories were this good.

I also love the way he flings her at his employers on page 3. Fantastic shot of a completely helpless and defeated heroine!

This is the second appearance of this particular book on Sleepycomics and it is fortunate that it was allowed to be shown twice because the above pics show a lot more DID scenes than the earlier page did which first appeared over a year ago. I once owned this book and it was one of my prized possessions. Check out the other page if you are interested in more information about this story . . . author, title, etc. Great pics!!

Hey sorry about the double post...my appologies to the board! I searched 'Bobbi Morse' and 'Mockingbird', should have checked 'Huntress, Marvel' as well...
Anyway, it IS a good scene...THOUGHT I had seen it somewhere before, and, obviously, it was this board! My bad..

Hey Gil,
Don't apologize. As I said, it's fortunate that we have your post, because you gave us several extra scenes with excellent DID artwork. Since we can never get enough of the "good stuff" . . . your extra scenes are most welcome. Thanks for sharing.
