Not all distress situations require the damsel to be unconscious. In this episode, which takes place in the jungles of JAVA, Nyoka is sent by a tribal chieftain on an expedition into the dense forest to capture and bring back a rare BUTTERFLY which has a wing span of 9 inches. She takes along a "helper" one of the tribesmen to help her in her work. She finds the BUTTERFLY and captures it, then goes to sleep for the night . . . but her greedy "helper" ties her up while she is sleeping and runs away with the Butterfly, wanting it all for himself. When Nyoka wakes up an angry rhinoceros is charging at her to smash her against the tree. She rolls aside just in time and the killer beast smashes into the tree and is knocked out. Nyoka wiggles free of her bonds, chases after the bad "helper", finds him and the chief banishes him from the tribe forever. Fairly decent pics of her tied up and rolling on the ground. BTW, no explanation is given for why Nyoka, the jungle girl from Africa, is now living and facing danger in JAVA. Anything is possible in comic books.
