In this scene, Supergirl apprehends a common criminal...but it turns out he has a kryptonite ring! He uses it to blast Supergirl unconscious.
The criminal then ties her to a chair and gags her. To keep her subdued, he places a container of kryptonite in front of Supergirl.

This is great. The only thing that would have made this better is a carry scene. But great none the less.
