With the life of their teammate Mockingbird (Barbara Morse) in danger, the New Avengers set out to confront Superia (dr. Deidre Wentworth) as she has the means by which Mockingbird might be saved. Superia attempts to negotiate with her adversaries, but Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) cuts the conversation short by attacking Superia and knocking her unconscious. The villainous Superia is then brought to prison.
