Alpha Flight is flung into space, and ends up in a dimension ruled by Dreamqueen. Vindicator (Heather McNeil) saves the team from a crash-landing, but ends up caught underneath the ship. This causes her battlesuit's force-shields to malfunction, effectively trapping the unconscious Vindicator inside. The team carries their leader along as they make their way across Dreamqueen's world and back to earth, where Vindicator is finally woken by a monk.
