Hope Summers teleported from Krakoa to the UK using Magik’s ability, her mission clear—to assassinate Selene. As the Black Priestess spoke with her comrades, Hope aimed a sniper rifle and fired a Mysterium bullet straight through the back of Selene’s neck. The impact bent her body backward, arching her spine as she collapsed to the ground, her glass of wine shattering beside her. Blood pooled around her lifeless form.
But Hope’s plan wasn’t over. She had already declared that she would be doing some “undignified” things.
Moments later, Selene gasped back to life, naked, confused, and struggling for air. Hope loomed over her, watching as the newly resurrected woman tried to comprehend what had just happened. With no warning, Hope welcomed her back—before driving her fist into Selene’s face, knocking her unconscious.
From the shadows, Exodus emerged. Hope, her hands stained with Selene’s vampiric blood, turned to him and coldly declared, “She’s all yours.” To her, Selene was nothing more than an object.
As Selene weakly reached for something to support herself, Exodus grabbed her by the head, pressing his thumbs into her forehead, attacking her mind with relentless psychic force. Her helpless eyes glazed over under the assault, her nose still bleeding from Hope’s brutal punch. Her mouth hung open, confusion and pain overwhelming her.
Hope, watching with disdain, dismissed Selene’s magic as pathetic. Without a second glance, she turned and walked away, showing not the slightest remorse for the woman she had just beaten, humiliated, and left utterly defenseless.
While Hope considered the job done, Exodus had one final act to complete. With ruthless efficiency, he twisted Selene’s neck, ending her life once more. Her body was left discarded, a mere afterthought to those who despised her for the chaos she had caused in Krakoa.
Perhaps this was the most brutal beatdown in Krakoan history—a merciless execution where Selene never even had the chance to defend herself, let alone her dignity.
