There are two head KO's. One of them leads to a scene where a woman is tied up and placed
under a flask containing acid (she is rescued).
The splash page has the Girl Commandos being gassed by Nazis, but this is unrelated to the story.

For me, the Girl Commando series manifested two things: 1) that comic books put out during the WW II years used the American cause in the war as the basis for many of their stories, thus making comic books much more relevant to current events than they have ever been since, and 2) that this particular series was overly skittish about presenting exciting DID and GGA scenes. This storyline offers a great opportunity to show good KO, arm carry, and bondage scenes, but it is stingy to a fault with those good things. The good news is, The Black Cat appeared in this issue also, and her stories were usually a tad more willing to be exciting to look at.
