Judy appears for the last time in this issue of Exciting Comics (#69). How sad, she was a great looking jungle girl, and as a genre this kind of story ran for at least 4 more years in other publications (Fiction House, Fox etc). In her final appearance she battles some diamond thieves who are trying to smuggle their ill-gotten gains out of Africa and into the USA. They are discovered by a kindly old toy maker whose steam boat they are fraudulently borrowing for their evil purposes and decide to kill him. Judy rescues him from drowning, only to be taken captive herself. She is bound, and left aboard the old man's steam ship and it is set on fire. She manages to get free of her bonds and resumes her chase, only to discover that her friend Pistol Roberts, a forest ranger, has already discovered the felons and brought them to justice. It is an interesting side note on most of Judy's adventures that she rarely uses violence herself in seeing justice restored to the jungle -- others usually do her hard work for her. This issue features a KO and several bondage scenes. Come back, Judy, we miss you!
