Don't think we've seen any Black Angel scans yet, so here's a nice unconsious carry from 1944. Once again, all thanks go to Digital Comics Museum.
Black Angel was a British Aviatrix during WWII, and her back up feature did a lot to spice up Air Fighters Comics.

Was the arm carry only in the splash page and not the inside story? Were there any pics of her being KO'd?

Like most 40's heroines,she got captured and tied up a lot...most of her ko's seem to occur "off-panel"..as, I believe, is the case here.
I think the splash is supposed to be a homage to "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"!
