In a rather overused plot, a wealthy investor discovers oil on land he owns jointly with several other members of his family. He plans to quietly offer to buy out each of the other owners, planning to carefully conceal his knowledge about any evidence of oil he found. However too many people are visiting the location for a variety of reasons, so he hires a thug to masquerade as a "tree", you heard right . . . to masquerade as a "tree" and scare off all unsuspecting visitors to the remote wooded location. Some people get injured in the process, and one man called the "hermit" gets killed, which leads Lady Satan to investigate. As Lady Satan drives up to the scene, the "tree man" is tossing a hapless woman around in an effort to scare her away. Lady Satan searches for the baddie, but he finds her first and grabs her and tries to break her neck with a hammerlock hold, but she out-wrestles him, subdues him and unmasks him. He rats on the head baddie, and she quickly apprehends him too, just as a police officer arrives . . . justice and peace once again prevailing. The splash page shows her barefoot and tied up by the tree, but this scenario never appears in the actual story . . . too bad. To me, she's fairly sexy looking with her low cut red dress, cape and black mask . . . I've always been especially fond of masked heroines. Hope you can have some fun with this one.
