K Bar Kate is the unmarried daughter of a well-to-do rancher. She is not really a superheroine but she is the star of her series of stories in Western Crime Busters. In this episode a new hired hand turns out to be a little too "touchy-feely" for Kate, and he manhandles her but she fights him off. Later the baddie tries again, and when he is rejected a second time, he decides to tie her up and kill her by binding her and setting some dynamite off in a cave. She manages to escape and the baddie is caught by her dad and brought to justice. Pics below show her fondled, manhandled, tied up and left to die. Trojan Publications produced Western Crime Busters late in the golden age era, just 3 years before the comic book code came along. They also featured Wilma West who had many DID scenes as well. Trojan had great instincts, and I'm sure would have given us much to enjoy if the code had not come along so soon after their debut. What a shame.
