Tsuchimikado Natsume, the main girl protagonist, is stung by a spiritual "bee"-like insect. The bee materializes from a crumpled piece of paper.

The sting causes the girl to pass out almost immediately. Her male friend rushes the groggy and semi-conscious girl to the hospital.
