Hawkeye 3-4

Hawkeye and his new partner and future wife Mockingbird are captured by a villain named Crossfire. He locks them up in a cell and forces them to fight to the death via a mind-control device. The 2 heroes have a brutal brawl, with Mockingbird dominating most of it thanks to her superior combat skills, until Crossfire stops the mind control device for a moment.

Hawkeye takes the opportunity to deafen himself to cancel the mind control. He's then forced to beat his partner to unconsciousness to then fake being down himself. The villain carry the heroes' bodies over their shoulders until Hawkeye frees himself and escapes to beat up Crossfire. After which he finds his battered future wife, barely conscious.
