Birds of Prey #50

A ape-like looking man in a big gorilla suit attacks a city, in search of a blonde woman. He targets Black Canary and tries to take her to a roof top. Black Canary uses her 'Canary Cry' to blast him away.

After things settle down, the ape-like reveals his name is Java. He is simply trying to get Black Canary's help. Canary shrugs Java off, but Java grabs her and puts his hand over Canary's mouth. Unable to breathe, Black Canary passes out, and Java carries her away.
