Sheena in Jumbo #12 head KO, unconscious, tied up

The art work in the early Sheena issues (pre-WWII) is not as good as the artwork of later issues. But as happens so often, the story-telling makes up for it, particularly when it includes many elements of DID in the storyline. In this early issue of Jumbo,(Feb. 1940), Sheena attracts the eye of an Arabian slave trader, and when he sees her kill a 400 pound lion, he wants her for his harem. Of course she is unwilling to go, so he has his henchmen manhandle her and then he hits her in the head with his whip. She falls unconscious to the ground. She is then groggily dragged to his tent, where she revives and rebels again. She and her mate are surrounded by dozens of Arab thugs, so they decide to make a run for it, steal two horses and ride off into the sunset. The plot is somewhat simplistic, but some good DID scenes make up for it. Once again I express my regrets for the poor microfiche quality . . . I got this old, old book from GACD. As it did for me, I hope it gives you also a few moments of fun.
