Black Widow in Amazing Adventures #5 head KO,carry

Black Widow looked great in the first 8 issues of Amazing Adventures, and then without warning or explanation, she was dropped . . . what a shame. In this story she is investigating a teen-age drug gang, when one of the gang members wants to quit the racket - - to the chagrin of the other gang members. Black Widow fights the teen thugs in a roof-top face-off . . . she gets KO'd, and is about to get tossed off the roof when the kid she was defending jumps to her defence, and knocks her assailant off the roof along with himself. The Widow lives to fight another day, but not her youthful defender. Pics below show her KO'd with a fist to the forehead, arm carried to the roof's edge, rescued, and lying on the roof watching her rescuer fall to his death. I personally like this version of her better than many of her later reincarnations. Hope you do too. Enjoy.
