The beautiful but ineffectual Spider Girl is easily subdued by Star Boy. In another story, Lana Lang narrowly escapes a spanking for being stupid.

Lana Lang is captured by some LSH imposters, tied to a stake and blasted. Happily Superboy takes the shot. Lana is stunned and soon recovers to help defeat the baddies as 'Insect Queen'. Great art by Mike Grell.
