The Legion have a party to celebrate Brainy's birthday, but are poisoned. Meanwhile Phantom Girl is injured yet again but is healed by a handy gizmo. The poisoned Legionnaires, thought dead, are set adrift in space in transparent coffins - but of course they're ok and soon return.

PG is knocked over the head, but the follow up scenes are disappointing.

While trekking through a desert, Shadow Lass becomes exhausted and needs a lift from Superman. Later on, captured and placed in a bright room, she is near helpless.

Supergirl in her civilian ID fights and knocks out Batgirl - who is in disguise, posing as "Miss Barbour". Later on, Supergirl is KO'd and rescued by Batgirl.
