Summary of the scene:
At the hotel, Haru has an attack, so Hajime and Ayako take him to the hospital. One of Majima's men comes and introduces himself to Alice as the police, asking her to come with him. Once in the car, Majima puts her to sleep with chloroform and heads off toward Dr. Mori's house.

This is from a children's graphic novel, but it looks like it came out of a hentai manga. Just shows what lengths writers will go to sell books.
This issue is quite good, has a chloroform scene later on.
The Hardy Boys seems to have a lot of girls in distress. More than Nancy Drew, interestingly.

I found this scene at the bookstore.
Basically she has a flashback where she remembers being chloroformed. One of the Hardy boys even says that it must have been "chloroform; only thing that could have knocked her out fast enough". Yeah, pretty cool stuff out there.
