When I first posted the above question back in February, the Golden Age Comic site was in fact down, for some reason which I was never fully able to understand. However, it made a renaissance around April Fool's day this year, and is now fully operational again. But that is not the only good news . . . . because a new site, just as useful and pleasurable as the Golden Age site also appeared at about the same time. That site is called "The Digital Comic Museum" and it has many of the same offerings of the Golden Age site. It's great to have two super comic book sites like this because one can find wonderful old comic books in two places now, and not just one. It is even possible to download from both sites at the same time, thus speeding up the number of books one can transfer in a 15 minute interval. The address of the Golden Age site is given above. The address of the new site is given right here:

http://digitalcomicmuseum.com/

Three cheers for the restoration and inauguration of these two great websites!!
