Any good Pic viewer for Linux - Like Irfan for Windows?
A good comic reader for linux would also be good...

Generally speaking later versions of Linux have reasonable picture viewers as standard.
Linux Mint has a DVD playing capability as standard and there is an easy DVD add on for Ubuntu 10:04.
Linux has generally lagged behind Microsoft in terms of multimedia but is showing encouraging signs of catching up fast.
You might be best to go on some Linux forums.
