Have been watching re-runs of the third Batman series. Much as I adored the lovely Yvonne Craig as Batgirl I always feel her knockouts were a bit lame. Pity she didn't do the much mooted spin off series where she might well have been put to sleep in much better fashions!

Any comments?

I keep waiting for the show to actually come out on DVD. For one thing, the episodes they show on Nick at Nite or whatever are edited down to allow for modern commercial breaks. I suspect some of the KOs get trimmed down for time.

For instance, in the episode where Batgirl goes into a ladies' dressing room after Catwoman and gets knocked out, I'm sure I remember a brief shot of Batgirl lying curled up on the floor. It's not there anymore.

Unfortunately, the show has been tied up in a mess of lawsuits for years...

Yes, Yvonne's KO's in the show were lame, but man was she nice as Batgirl! My favorite scene is the one Lurkndog mentioned. She wakes up bound and gagged as well. Pity she never had a chloro scene in the show...

Love how Batgirl states she can go in the ladies dressing room ''with my eyes wide open!'' Little does she realise a dose of Catwoman's catnap spray will soon put paid to that. And doesn't Eartha Kitt make a super Catwoman as she delights in taunting the bound and seemingly doomed Batgirl?

By the way, BW, did I mention how much I enjoy the "sexy sax" playing the background music for the series of Batgirl TV clips? It's gotten to where I play the scene over and over while visiting Sleepycomics.com just to have this "cool" music to listen to. I don't even have to look at the TV clips to hear and enjoy the music, I look at all the current scenes on Sleepcomics and the music plays very clearly on another tab which has been "minimized" just for listening, not for viewing. Yep, it's so gorgeous - just like Batgirl!!! Imagine if Batgirl had gotten into the secret lair of another batman villain from the series, that musical maestro of mayhem, The Minstrel, but sliding doors at either end of a corridor trapped her. This sax solo starts to play as The Minstrel's voice cackles over an intercom. ''Welcome Batgirl, how do you like this little lullaby?'' Then streams of sleeping gas issue from the ceiling and our amazing adventuress collapses unconscious!!!!!

Thinking of the above maybe one of our fantastically talented artists could draw this sequence??? Then PP you could view it and play the sax solo at the same time - how cool is that!
