Dagger is chloroformed from behind by The Marked Man. The villain first chloroforms his victims, then places a mark on their forehead. There are several chloro scenes in this issue and the previous one.
The chloro featuring Dagger though is amazingly well done. A classic scene!
Diamondback (Rachel Leighton) gets chloroformed by Snapdragon. She's wearing a sexy bikini as well.

A ape-like looking man in a big gorilla suit attacks a city, in search of a blonde woman. He targets Black Canary and tries to take her to a roof top. Black Canary uses her 'Canary Cry' to blast him away.
After things settle down, the ape-like reveals his name is Java. He is simply trying to get Black Canary's help...
