The Blonde Phantom was created for Timely Magazines (precursor to Marvel) by Syd Shores with considerable input from managing publication editor and story writer, none other than the great Stan Lee. No wonder her stories are so exciting and full of DID and peril. In this single issue she is KO'd 3 times, tied up twice...
This piece I did is a homage to the famous scene from Fantastic Four #124. In that issue, The Monster from the Lost Lagoon chloroforms Sue and abducts her. I decided to draw a slightly different aftermath, with the monster holding Sue on the ground while she sleeps.
I like this piece a lot. One of my new personal f...
Angel Sorayama (the girl on the cover) is briefly defeated in a fight. You can see her being dragged unconscious in the second picture.
The cover and splash page shows Angel bound by a Chinese dragon.
I included another bondage scene that occurs near the middle of the issue.
The whole story arc revolves around rescuing Miu, who got kidnapped after losing a fight. She gets captured in chapter 447, and rescued in chapter 466 I think.
Lots of shots of Miu unconscious (she wakes up half way through, but faints again).

She's then grabbed from behind and held. Another figure pours chloroform onto a cloth (yes, we get a panel sh...
A wonderful head KO of Modesty Blaise! Ends with a very good full body unconscious arm carry.
Love the black leather boots she wears!
In the next page she is shown bound with handcuffs. Not that great, so I'm just going to leave things at that!
