Cyborg 009 S1E11

I Finally found the Cyborg 009 chloro on youtube! The episode is called "Holy Night Mirage" and you can see it here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI1qSqVBzAw. The chloro happens around 3:08. It's a really nice scene; I actually saw this live on TV! When the episode reaired, I taped it and that was the only copy I had. I couldn't convert analog to digital so there was no way I could post it on the internet. Now I just need to find a way to convert .flv files to .avi.

I think the context of Cyborg 003's kidnapping is excellent. When she gets into the car and says goodbye to her family, it's the last time she ever sees them. She thinks she's going to a ballet school but then the cloth is clamped over her mouth. Francoise slips into dreamland and the next time she wakes up is basically 2003. She is just so helpless which is why I love this scene. Chloroform practically changed her life.

It's been a good week so far for scene finds. I discovered yet another Detective Conan chloro in volume 14. I found out that the chloro was animated and aired as episode 84. I downloaded that episode and will add it to the clip section in the near future.

I posted two chloro clips. One is from City Hunter: The End of Ryo Saeba movie. It's a REALLY long chloro and I'm sure you will all enjoy it. Then I managed to convert the Cyborg 009 chloro into .wmv format. If you haven't seen it yet check it out.

Someone posted some really awesome screencaps from Lupin III. One had Fujiko getting gassed and another had her getting chloroformed. I have never seen either. I can't wait to get my hands on some videoclips. I am loving this explosion of content.

You know how to make a good day even better? Seeing original chloro art by LoZ on AVGDID. Yeah, it was fucking amazing. This is like the greatest week in my life.

More Detective Conan

Remember that scan from Detective Conan volume 14 I recently found? It had a girl named Sonoko getting drugged with chloroform and then strangled. Well that manga story was animated into episode 84. I acquired that episode and made a clip of the animated scene. It is nearly identical to the manga version:
I added it to the clips page.Manga and anime share a strong correlation. If a scene appears in the manga, there is a good chance it appears in the anime.

Creamy Mami

Oct 07, 2006 06:30 PM | 1
Just when I thought I had found everything, the chloro gods giveth more. A cool member (I'm looking at you Moryomaru) alerted me to some anime scenes. I decided to look for the chloroform scenes first because, well, chloroform is my number one priority. And so I found this series called "Magical Angel Creamy Mami". Now when I first started watching it I was like there is no way there could be chloro in this show! I totally did not expect it. The show has cute little kitties, magical unicorns, a cute heroine. There was absolutely no way this show for 10 year olds could possibly have a chloroforming. And then it happened.

I literally jumped out of my chair and yelled "FUCK YEAH!" at the top of my lungs. I was watching episode 17. The scene was unbelievable; it's one of my favorite cartoon scenes ever! Creamy Mami is in this cute little outfit and she gets chloroformed by a person she trusted! The context was brilliant! Oh yeah, the cloth is a flower too which made it all the better because honestly, kids don't need to know that you put chloroform on a WHITE CLOTH. They just need to think, hey this flower emits sleeping gas fumes and she breathed it, very cool.

The second Creamy Mami scene is the traditional agent-in-a-black-suit-and-tie-holding-a-white-cloth-over-the-girl's-mouth scene. Excellent scenes both of them. Your mouths are probably watering right now so I'll just tell you I posted them in the clips section. Eat your hearts out.

On a side note, my room mates heard my persistive yelling. They wanted to know what I was all excited about. My happiness was too great to contain. I didn't tell them anything and they didn't really care.

A little bit off topic. I went to a frat party last night with one of my roommates. I had a little alcohol, played some games. It was fun. I should go partying more often, it's too boring around here.

My Dream Last Night

Oct 09, 2006 11:09 AM | 3
Let me describe my dream to you. It involved one of my roommates. The setting was a hotel, or apartment maybe. In my dream, my roommate was with a girl when suddenly he nerve pinches the girl causing her to faint. My roommate gets all excited now. I say to him "I need to talk to you right now".

I ask him if he likes seeing unconscious women and replies 'yes'. I then admit to him that I shared his fascination. It turns out he had his own sleepy website as well, but it involved him making his own videos. I showed him my site and told him about the entire subculture surrounding this sleepy fascination.

I guess the dream emphasized my wish to perhaps meet another human being who understands my interest (that doesn't mean I want to meet any of you people in person, you are all weird!). It would be pretty awesome though to just bump into someone randomly and find out that he is one of us. I'll probably have better luck getting a royal flush in poker.

Lucky again: Miracle Girls vol 4

Oct 15, 2006 12:55 AM | 0
Luck is on my side. I got an alert that there is a chloroform scene in Miracle Girls, in one of volumes 3-5. I went to my library and found that they had only volumes 3 and 4 available. Volume 4 triumphed. As I was flipping through I saw agents in black suits. I knew I was on the right track!

A week ago I was also at the library and I just randomly picked up a manga I saw. The title was "Scary Book" and it looked like it had potential for a scene. I flipped through and caught a glimpse of a white cloth over a face. It was an incredible find, almost as if I am attracted to these scenes.

I added another chloro clip, this one from an anime called Utawaremono (I think I spelled that right, it has a lot of letters in it). First saw the scene on Youtube I believe. It's alright, we get two for the price of one, I'm always fine with that.

So the new Fantastic Four cartoon is going to have an episode called "Puppet Master". I'm not sure, but in three instances Sue Storm was gassed by the Puppet Master in three versions of the same scene (FF #8). That would be awesome if they recreated FF #8.

I'm also watching the NBC series "Heroes". I'm waiting for that KO!

Star Spangled Kid x2

Oct 20, 2006 10:53 AM | 0
Here are some of my recent finds:

The first two scenes involving the Star Spangled Kid were contributed by members of c3c. Now those people know DID! Basically they posted a scene where the girl was waking up bound on a table. I asked Grimbor how she was abducted and he posted the scene where she was gassed. Man how lucky is that? Then another member alerted me to a scene in JSA #69 where she was put to sleep by an injection. It was such a great scene. As you have seen already, I managed to acquire volume 5 of Kyoukasho Ni Nai. This is a fairly ecchi manga so as I was flipping through the first 100 pages I was like "ewwwwww". The scene finally appeared and it was so worth the effort.

Deviantart a winner once again

Oct 24, 2006 11:45 AM | 0
Someone sent me a link to this very nice piece of sleepy art: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/37918039/. It's the Fausta chloro reimagined! The artist is obviously very talented; this is probably one of the finest chloroformings I have ever witnessed in ink. I don't know how else to praise it, just look at it and leave comments. Amazing what one can find out there. (PS: check out the rest of the artist's gallery, you will find a pleasant surprise.)

Anyway, I added three more clips. The last 8 clips have been chloroformings, so I've switched gears and posted 3 sleeping gas scenes. One of them is the Daphne gassing from Scooby Doo. Project X posted it a while back and I liked the clip so much I am putting it on my site. Posted a new clip from Urusei Yatsura movie 5 of Lum knocked out with sleeping gas. Finally, I posted a scene you have all probably seen before, Lois Lane gassed in the Superman TAS episode "Demon Reborn". I don't think a good quality version of that scene was ever posted before, so I decided to make a decent clip of that great scene.

Does this smell like....

Oct 30, 2006 12:06 PM | 2
Alright, so I was with some people I know and they were joking around about airport security or whatever. Then out of no where one of them says "hey, does this smell like chloroform to you?". The other guys just laughed. I was like right there sort of laughing to myself. I think it sounds really weird when someone verbally says the word 'chloroform'. Like I seriously get cringes when I hear the word being spoken. It might be a subconscious thing, where my mind thinks these people are making fun of me. Sometimes, I have a feeling people know about my fascination but I am certain that is impossible.

I wonder what people would think if only they knew the truth.

Anyway, where did the catch phrase "does this smell like chloroform to you?" come from? It is used in forum signatures all over the net. Just goto deviantart and search for chloroform, you'll find the phrase everywhere. What is so funny or catchy about it? It is overused and becoming very annoying. Just goes to show you that beyond this subculture, chloroform is one big joke.
